Which one comes on top ?

Hello fellow members
I wanted to share these two next to each other. They are pretty different and each piece has it’s own vibe.
Price aside which one would you prefer? And why?
All comments are appreciated.
Thank you.

I'm going to say the Jumbo you cant see in the pic. The 15500 is too big for my tiny wrist!

Both are beautiful timepieces.

If I don't have to pay money for these two watches, I will definitely pick AP 15500st.

If I have to pay for them, I think both of them are very good at their prices.

15500st is a higher price than SS DateJust with MOP and diamonds dial.

I have TT DateJust with MOP and diamonds dial and 15500OR with rose gold bracelet, I love both of them for their own prices.

I had my heart set on a 1500st, really love the look of that dial. Until I tried it on. I tried on all versions of the dial, blue, black, grey. I originally wanted the black but thought the grey looked best. Having never of owned an AP i was massively dissapointed, people talk about AP and patek like they are vastly better than Rolex and to be honest I’ve actually never been so underwhelmed in my life when looking at a watch. Sure the dial still looked nice but didn’t like the way it wore , how it looked or felt on the wrist.

I know I’m in the minority here, or possible even the only person on the forum who even thinks this if you go by what’s written here. But Rolex quality and build feels heaps better than AP. I know it’s all handmade etc etc and Rolex is machine made etc etc. But there’s no comparison for me.

I do have a tendency for PM and I would love to try the rose gold version (never got round to it) and hopefully would have a different view on it because they do look beautiful in photos. I think I bought the meteorite day date instead with the money I was going to use for this purchase.

However, going back to the original question I still would wear the AP over that datejust lol.

AP is the better watch hands down
The bracelet, dial, bezel.......... few among MANY reasons I would pick a royal oak over many Rolex watches!

AP is very...different when you first hold it (best word i could find lol). the first time i held one in a store it felt really fragile but shiny. i think once you start wearing it you start noticing all the little things that make you realize it's a step above rolex

This is a fair comment, thanks for your reply. As I collector I agree that it takes some time to wear a watch to notice subtleties that you wouldn’t of noticed otherwise. However was put off for now. Will def give the rose gold one a go in the future though
