Looks great. I went a similar route with a flat link bracelet from Forstner.

I have another Speedy inbound so might opt for a fully brushed Forstner as I understand that they may have the edge on the Uncle Seiko..

Great looking bracelets. I am in the market for a Speedy but am waiting to see the new models in person and try to decide. If I go with the 1861 I believe I will go alligator and get a strap from one of the aftermarket companies. I own Uncle Seiko and just got a Forstner bracelet for a Breitling and both are well done.

Congrats and love the post title. It's refreshing to see discuss the love of something as opposed to value retention, DSW has the snoopy at $35k, etc.
