You really need the new Zenith to time it in 10ths. It only takes seconds. No company needed.

Nice watch and congrats on shot.
Millions of people are begging for that shot and cant get one, and would gladly have a sore arm. |

What Jeff said in post 23.
We also had local news items warning us off of 'pre-med' attempts.

Great watch and great for you!
I got my fist vaccine yesterday and was a bit surprised it was an intramuscular injection. Not a tiny needle like a flu shot..Sure my arm hurt a bit but last night and today about 10x worse. I'm maybe a bit fatigued but constantly happy that I got the vaccine..Looking forward to the next one! Bring it! Had no idea not to pre medicate..won't do it on round 2 but guessing it makes zero difference.

We should have "Incoming" and "I've got the call" threads for the vaccine!

Yeah I have started giving the anesthesia at the Dentist a miss and am much happier for it. I think you are just swapping one discomfort for another and no anesthesia seems to me to be the lesser evil.

I love the BLNR and it's been a good companion, through thick and thin.
With regards to the COVID-19 vaccine, I didn't have any problems with the first shot. I shoveled the driveway afterwards and didn't have any myalgias, fever etc. that I sometimes get with my annual flu shot. With the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, I had a very nice and well-intentioned nurse administer it. However, prior to getting the second shot, she made small talk with me about the countless complaints that she had heard about the second shot.... it almost scared me off! Joking aside, I knew how fortunate that I was to have access to the COVID-19 vaccine and went through it without hesitation. I had about 1-2 days of mild soreness at the site of the second COVID-19 shot. No significant side-effects and well worth it. Stay safe and healthy! |

Got jabbed with my first 2 days ago. Was wearing my slate Yachtmaster 40 and my arm is still a little sore but it's really not bad at all. Got an appointment for April 24th for the second one. They say I might experience side effects with the second shot. I'll have the weekend to recover if so. Just glad to be getting it taken care of.
