Incoming 1314

Long time Panerai fan and I have owned several, but this has to be be my favorite. At 44mm its the perfect size for me and the white sandwich dial just pops. Added the bracelet and to me it makes the watch really unique.

It’s amazing! Do you find the white makes it “wear bigger” in real life or not so much?

I think it does wear a little larger because of the dial, which is one of the reasons I’m glad it’s “only” a 44mm. It also seems to wear larger on the bracelet vs the straps if that makes any sense. Definitely a bold watch on the bracelet, but the bracelet appears to be of very high quality and certainly has a unique look.

Congrats, looks great on the bracelet! Did the local AD have them in stock or did they have to order it for you?

I Love this color combo. Dial legibility looks outstanding. For another cool summer look, I would get the blue rubber strap. That color blue with the white dial would be a completely different look and "pop".

I actually picked this up at Timeless Luxury Watches in Plano. It was purchased new from the local Boutique last mont and then traded in at Timeless. They happened to have a bracelet in the back so I bought that too. The local Boutique quoted me 2 weeks on the bracelet, but said there was a few months wait on the watch itself. Was over at Timeless and they had this one essentially unworn so I grabbed it.

That looks great. I actually like the grey/green rubber strap (along with the leather strap) that came with it a lot more than I thought I would. You’re right the white dial is really legible. From what I understand this is the first white sandwich dial they have done.

I’m a fan, nice choice! I also really like the chrono version. White sandwich is just damn good looking.

I"m really astounded at how well that green rubber strap works with the 1314.

That white dial is awesome! It’s got some grey right? Like a few shades greyer then chalk?

I would say it varies between a fairly bright white to a chalk depending on the light. The grey indices in the sandwich dial can definitely give the dial a grayish cast.
