I guess if I had to pick what's more rugged....I would say Aquanaut but really both of them are a pain to keep pristine if that matters to the owner...these bezels are just too sensitive to hairlines.

But I definitely love the aesthetics of Nautilus better personally. Never was a huge fan of rubber straps in general so to me a nice silky bracelet like the Nautilus will always be preferable to me.

Naut, had a Aqua years ago when you could easily buy one. In fact wife had the smaller version. Sold 'em both years ago, just not taking the chance with reliability due to short warranty. The older the Aqua design gets nowadays, the more it looks like a child's watch.

As we all know, the now long-in-the-tooth Naut design has been superseded by the modern Bvlgari Octo. Check out the Bvlgari movement, bracelet, and case design, much more advanced than PP and much better warranty too.

Eventually you will end up with both. I'm glad I started off with an Aquanaut and made my way to the Nautilus.

i would take any nautilus over an aquanaut, expect for 5968, i think the chrono looks better on the aquanaut.

There's just one problem - it has Bulgari on the dial, not PP. No matter how you spin it one company has totally different standing in watch industry than the other.

Don't care about a brand? Good for you, I wouldn't want to be caught dead with a Bulgari. Same goes for Chopard or Montblanc.
