You have no idea how badly I wish we could share. It’s about 3 links too small for my wrist! I’d love to get one for myself at some point. I think it’s one of Rolex’s most interesting references.

Huge congrats!

I got wife the same watch, pictures do not do this watch justice. I prefer it to my BLRO

She’s okay :) I’m just jealous you get to share watches.

It is a stunning watch. I can't get enough of mine!

I love the way it changes colours in different light settings. In bright sunshine the bezel is a caramel colour and the centre links almost look stainless steel but inside, away from direct sunlight the centre links glow a coppery gold warmth and the bezel goes burgundy.

I was in a department store yesterday and walked past a mirror and this shimmering sparkling light caught my eye and it was the Rootbeer reacting to the light. I looked incredible the way the light bounced off the teeth around the bezel edge that I just stood there for a bit admiring it.

It's a very underrated watch!

sweet, congrats, OP!

The only thing I wish Rolex would've done with the CHNR, is give it a chocolate dial instead of black. But otherwise, it's super-dreamy!

I'm okay with the black dial, but I'm hoping the oyster bracelet gets discontinued and it gets updated to a jubilee soon.

I was doing that myself at home. The color of the bezel and the hue and intensity of RG change with different light. It’s fun to watch. It’s just such an unusual but brilliantly composed design, especially in TT.

It works well with the black dial IMO. Not a fan of chocolate dials.
