Patek 2497 Help
I was sent pictures by my dealer of an early 50s Patek Philippe ref 2497. I am not an expert on Patek so can anyone see any red flag from the poor pictures? Thanks.

You should cross-post to Watchprosite. I'm no expert on the 2497, but the dial doesn't look correct to me. The gray outlines around the date apertures and around the moon phase subdial seem odd, and I've never seen them on a 2497 before. The outline seems crudely done around the moonphase subdial. Printing of the day and month seems crude.
What about pictures of the movement? |

I am no expert.
A little time on Collectability.com (John Reardon’s site) will be a great place to start. |
