Diamond paved dial YM? Should I buy or not?

Hi everyone, I’m brand new here and this is my first ever thread!I’m very excited to have become a member is this forum and I have started collecting various Rolex in the past 3-4 years.
I would like to get your opinions on this.

My local AD has sourced a 37mm Yacht Master (Ref 268655) Everose Gold diamond paved dial with Oysterflex and offered to sell It to me at RRP.

I am not sure I should take it or not. I struggle to find any review on the web regarding this watch…I have spoken to someone who said I might struggle to sell it in the future as it’s a 37mm watch (people nowadays tend to go for bigger dials) I’m worried I may struggle to sell it when I need to have some cash in the future..

Any opinions would be much appreciated!

Well if you love it, go for it but if you aren't sure don't take it.

I would rather go for full gold bracelet instead of diamond paved dial.

If your wrist is bigger than 6.75", 40mm might be better.

Ask yourself do you want to buy the watch yes or no only you can decide,, and don't buy just because AD offered it at MRP. Truth be told watches like this one are quite poor sellers and in the real world even a discount on that particular model is possible

I'd pass. That's serious money to build a collection with versus buying a ladies watch. The pave markup alone is $20,000 USD. For the same total you could get a Pepsi and a non pave YM rose gold. Or a daytona and a submariner. Etc

What’s the Retail price? Have ad stopped doing discounts in poor sellers too (seems everything is selling nowadays so I would assume so).
Are you interested in other models and this one would be a stepping stone to a grail?
If not, and you have your doubts, pass. It’s a poor seller (ad is a business after all, he’s there to sell them after all that’s why you also need to win something In this trade (usually satisfaction that you don’t seem to have here)). It’d also not a size that gets preference (even though 36to 39 are great sizes and depending on a person better than 40mm+). If you are already thinking about selling it, it’s not a good sign and you will NOT see all of your money back on this one.

The fact that you’re even asking tells me the answer is NO.

The fact that it’s a diamond paved 37mm ever rose yacht master on oyster flex tells me the answer is HELL NO!

An authorised dealer offered to sell you a watch at RRP? OMG. NO WAY.

My AD has this watch in stock too...it's been there for about 3-4 weeks with no takers. If you Love it then buy it, but don't buy it just because your AD has it.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I have to say I am not fully committed to this watch...probably a no go then!
