Looks brand new again. I miss the all brushed bracelet on my sub. Way easier to touch up. The Gmt C can be tricky to touch up properly.

Always something new to learn from this forum everyday! Cheers... will be getting my scotch brite to rid those small pesky scratches on the brushed-finished bracelets.

Any tips to remove similar scratches on the high-polished parts? Thanks!!

Polished parts go with a cape cod cloth.

Glad you're happy with the results but the scotchbrite pads I use are not the ones with the sponge. It's just a scrubbing pad.

can anybody confirm the cape cod cloth leaving a mirrored finish? I seen on this forum before that if u look close ou can still see micro scratches after you use one.

I know that would look better then alot of scratches but for me if it doesnt restore factory finish id rather just let RSC do it. Thanks for any info

Sunshine polishing cloth works wonders on mirrored finish either gold or stainless. It does not leave micro scratches either.

Looks good. Don't forget to change pads if you touch up often. After a while old pads don't get the same results.

Hey man, I know this is an ancient post by now, but how much pressure did you apply with the green Pad? I am going to doing this same thing tomorrow.

Thanks!!

From your picture, it seems like your scratches were gone but the brush grain didn't go straight line like the way it should be.

When you use Scotch Brite Pad, you should rub in straight line, so the grain will go straight in one direction just like the original.

Very little pressure at all. All you are doing is re-aligning the grain, not hogging out the metal.
