For Sale: Vintage Rolex GMT Master Pepsi Reference 1675 5.7M serial

Thinning out the collection a bit to make room for a recent impulse purchase, and my close to birth year 1675 drew the short straw. Picked it up sometime over the last 12 months from a private seller here on TRF.

The 1675 here is a very nice, wearable example of the early classic reference 1675 GMT Master. Manufactured circa 1979, the watch has a matte tritium service dial with great patina. The bezel is the original red-back fat font classic "Pepsi" GMT red and blue with a nice light even fading, with a 78360 Oyster bracelet securing the watch around the wearer's wrist.

Take a look at the photos and the condition rundown below.

Case: 40mm stainless steel case in excellent vintage condition. The case has thick lugs as shown and shows some surface wear commensurate with use. Crown screws down securely. Both serial and reference number stampings are crisp and fully legible.

Bezel: Bidirectional Pepsi bezel in very good condition as pictured. The insert is the original red-back fat font Pepsi bezel with a very light fading on the red portion.

Dial/Hands: Dial is an older matte tritium service piece likely replaced in the early 1990s. The dial is in wonderful condition and the tritium hour plots have aged to an even pleasing patina. The hands are also service pieces that no longer glow. The GMT hand has darker lume as pictured. Date disc is original silver with open 6's and 9's.

Caseback: Original steel caseback in good conditon with some surface wear as shown. Inner caseback is stamped 1675.

Crystal: Newly fitted acrylic crystal free from any significant signs of wear.

Movement: Caliber 3175 Rolex Automatic GMT movement keeping impeccable time. All functions work as they should. Service history is unknown.

Bracelet/Strap: 78360 Oyster bracelet with V6 clasp code and 580 end links. Bracelet has 12 links and fits up to a 7.75" wrist comfortably. Bracelet shows only minor stretch and shows some surface wear on the links. The clasp code dates to 1996 indicating a service bracelet.

Accessories: Green suede/button Rolex travel pouch, and watch only.

Price: $10,900, via bank wire. PayPal accepted for well-established members, with a 3% fee to be included by buyer. Shipment will be via FedEx Priority, and is included in sale price. No trades.
