SOTC - There Can Be Only One

Next week is the one year anniversary of my purchase of this lovely 1975 Datejust 1601 - overhauled by Phillip Ridley earlier this summer - and it has utterly vanquished all competitors.

Truly worthy to wear the crown.

Stunning watch. So,so understated, I've nothing against the new models, but for me, they are too Blingey.

Beautiful.

Love the photo with the empty pillows all around it. Kind of bittersweet when a watch is so awesome that it kills the rest of the collection. That's what my Milgauss 1019 did.
