1016 Mark 4 dial advice: Service dial or original to the watch?

Hi,

I am considering the following 1016 and am in discussions with the seller.

Based on my own self-study (largely referring to this forum and sites such as https://explorer1016.com/), I believe this is a Mark 4 dial. However the case is in the 2.1 range and dates to 1969 (no bracelet to double check on this one).

What is the opinion of the experts on this one?

1 - An acceptable anomaly given the date/serial no range?
2 - A service dial

I have come across other examples of this dial in 1016 dated to the same period (see this for e.g.):

Happy to hear your collective thoughts.

I realise I've done a disservice to the members but posting such a low resolution image, so here's a better close up that I hope helps.

Case back has 69 and the serial no is indeed in the 2.1 range as per the latest images I've received from the seller.

The HQmilton watch is a Mk3 service dial. Not sure why You linked that. Your watch is a Mk4 and certainly a service dial. I’d expect a frog foot or a MK2 for a 2.1 serial.

I would have thought frog foot would be an option
