Went back to the AD for the 2nd time in two days....
Thought I'd drive them nuts more.
Gotta say, the no-date Sub is a better looking watch than the Sea Dweller. I tried really, really hard to love the SD too, but when I look at them side by side, and in the full length mirror, the SD just doesn't cut it. I'm going to hang on to the Pepsi GMT. |

Sounds like a great idea It really is a terrific watch. The Pepsi GMT and a no-date Sub is just an awesome, classic tool watch combo

I admit I feel I MUST buy a watch before the price hike! If I cannot find the TT GMT I want, maybe I will do the SD or a Sub. Tough decisions. :-(

Who would pay $6,888 for one online? I think a brand new one from an AD (with discount) should only be 10% more? And besides, if anything goes wrong with the watch, who's going to help you? It's very likely you won't have anyone to turn to with the grey market watch. Go the AD route, simply because it's too small of a difference to cheap out on.

I called Jared's on the weekend, they did not say it was the Anniversary Edition. I just remembered I have a credit card that has a concierge attached to it, I can let them dig for it!

The no-date sub is a classic. Like the simple clean look of it.
But currently I have my sights set on something else. Time will tell, but I am hopeful. |
