For older models, I would say Daytona 6239s with exotic dial, worn by famous people.

Always the one I’m looking for! In all honesty, white dial Daytona appears to win that race. It fits almost any wrist on earth, including lots of women.

Most sought after? The SD 4000?

Hilarious!

The reason it was discontinued after so short a time is because the market was simply not biting. It was the same size as the Submariner, only thicker and more expensive. Most buyers simply passed.

Now, if the question was which watch has had ONE of the shortest production runs then definitely the SD 4000 can play.

BUT the ‘most sought after?’

The SD 4000 would be right near the bottom of that list. Even lower than the Cellini references.

…and I say that as someone who actually likes the SD 4000.
