FS: 1982 Rolex Submariner 5513 MKV
For sale is my circa 1982 Rolex submariner 5513 with MKV dial. I bought this watch last April from a wonderful vintage dealer out of his personal collection. It was already a very strong example but I wanted to make it the best it could be without worrying about the cost.
I had LAWW restore the case and install a Trudome crystal as well as pressure test the watch. The original crystal is included with sale. I also had mike at rolliworks tighten up the bracelet. The results speak for themselves I feel. This watch has a wonderful vintage cream patina but the condition of a new watch. I thought it was a fine pairing for a watch with a dial that looked in catalogue condition and a case that was still very thick. I had no intentions of selling it but I came across a grail daytona I could not pass up. As we all know they cost us dearly. Happy to share the original photos with any buyers who want to know what went into this little project. Always happy to talk on the phone about the watch as well. My understanding talking with the previous owner and others is that at a minimum everything on the watch is period correct if not original. It’s impossible to know unless you’re the original owner but the watch is “Correct.” Price: $18,500 shipped and insured CONUS by bank wire only. I have a ton of feedback here over the last decade. Feel free to message me here or on IG and I’m happy to provide extensive references. I have no affiliation with Rolex and am just a collector selling a private watch out of my collection. WATCH SPECS Maker: Rolex Model: Submariner Reference: 5513 Year: 1982 Material: Stainless Steel Dimensions: 39mm diameter; 13mm thickness with crystal Crystal: Plexiglass Lume: Tritium Caliber: Rolex Caliber 1530 Automatic Bracelet/Strap: Rolex 93150 Oyster Diver Bracelet w/ 580 endlinks & matching G code clasp Lug Width: 20mm Box/Papers: None Thanks for looking

Just a side note I had someone ask about the nature of the case work done. This was a vintage refinish to the mid case. No metal was added to the case or anything like that. The goal was to restore not to modify. I have pictures of the watch before and after and you will see it was already a strong case.
