Does any one know which model has the least production numbers?

Hello Rolex fans and friends,
Just curious as to which model Rolex has the smallest production. Some AD carry Explorer I (black dial) and some do'nt. I know SS Daytona fall in this same catagory.

Does any here pays attention to the production numbers? I guess that could be why there is price fluxuation.

Fair question, Darrick.

Not sure if anyone here could come up with the absolute correct answer though. Production numbers will change from model to model and from demand to demand which would depend to which part of the world Rolex is supplying that particular model.

For example, some models may not sell at all in certain parts of the world (example the mid-size models). By the same token, these models sell like the proverbial "hot cakes" in places like Hong Kong and other Far East Asian countries.

I guess it all depends on the demand of a particular market.

I imagine that there are many custom one-of-a-kind creations out there. There's that tricked out orange Daytona, I imagine those are rather rare....
