One of my favorite Rolex photographs…
This image was made by Toby McFarlan Pond, a British still life photographer, now residing in the U.S. It was part of an editorial story he shot for Wallpaper magazine in the mid to late 1990s.
I was fortunate enough to work with Toby as his main photo retoucher for a few years in the 2000-teens. This image was before my time. I think it captures the essence of what makes a Rolex a Rolex, in a very original way that still feels fresh today. |
