My Very First DJ + Jubilee // Feels Thin……..

But I must say the level of comfort is unreal compared to oyster band watches….

With that being said I did trade my [Milguas] as part of the deal and now I kinda miss it Going to try and find my original favorite Milg [white dial] down the road.

Here are a couple pics of the Wimbledon, which photos in no way shape or form do this enough justice.

Sounds like buyers remorse. Just sell it buy back what you want

Congrats (I guess)? Sounds like you might want to reverse the deal. Easy enough if you don't click with the DJ.

I am with Travis, I think this is a congratulations post? I really like the Wimbledon and think that pop of green with the indices are a classy touch.

However, if you find that you are missing the MG more than enjoying the DJ…maybe a switch?

No no no¡, if anything my SD is jealous because the DJ might be my new daily ;)

Wouldn’t give up the DJ for another Milg, but I do believe the 2 would compliment each other well in a rotation…. Before the trade I thought the opposite.

Too thin? Next it’s “My wallet won’t close!” And “My diamond shoes are too tight!”.

The switch from oyster to jubilee takes some getting used to. The first time I wore my datejust 36 on jubilee after 5 years with a sub I had to constantly check my wrist because it felt like the watch had fallen off - that’s how light it was. With time though that feeling goes away and you just realize how comfortable it is.

I’ve developed a great fondness for thin watches. The DJ41 is such a pleasure to wear, and the Jubilee bracelet is icing on the cake. Congrats and enjoy!

Congratulations. Great reference and it looks very nice on you. I trade watches for other watches sometimes and I do get that "I wish I still had whatever watch" sometimes. But it is usually after the fact and it is not so much that I want the watch but I don't want to be without it. Most of the time though, not enough to get it back though. Enjoy.

Everyone has that same impression especially if they’re used to wearing 40mms. It’s a beautiful piece and that is just the initial feeling. After wearing it for a while you won’t even notice.

Congratulations.

Excellent DJ reference. Maybe my favorite of the current lot. Curious what the next gen Wimbledon will be like and if they will incorporate the laser dial etching technology and lume somehow

Love the DJ41. Yes, it's a bit thin when compared to the Milgauss, a beautiful watch nonetheless ... especially on Jubilee.
