And one more thing:
Dings and scratches just adds character to a 5-digit clasp version, compared to the technically better Glidelock clasp. I love the Glidelock functionality, but like the more soulful Oysterclasp on the 5-digits. Besides, the design of the stamped "pattern" on the 5-digit clasp just flows better with the rest of the Oyster bracelet - and the new 6-digit does not blend into the design as much as it could/should. |

My 1996 5-digit Sub (my only Rolex) has been my everyday, do anything watch for more than 25 years now. I love it and will never sell it! It will outlive me for sure! Original box and all papers too.

LV dial with a black bezel is the best. 5 digit LV dials are gross.

I definitely see the appeal of five digit subs, but personally I prefer the modern six digit versions. Don't have any reason other than they feel better on my wrist.

5 digits all along..
Years of flipping subs ended up with 14060M and 16610LV. Owned 116610LN but did not last long. Plus 16710 pepsi. As for Daytona settled with 116520 as the 5 digits price is insane!

Why I love the 5-digit Submariners

This watch you’re showing on the picture or the Red Sea Dweller 1665 my one only grail references that I wish I’ll be able to wear at least one at some point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
