Zenith open works…….. which one?

Hello good friends!

Talk me in or out of one of those!

I’ve been liking the idea of adding a skeleton dial watch and I would like it in ceramic
I landed on zenith for the history, technology and complication
I am choosing between two models
Both in ceramic
I love the 1/100 second and complication of the defy 21
I like the date on the defy classic

For reference I have a 7.6” wrist, so either will work well on my wrist

Thoughts? Pictures and input from owners of either watch would be super helpful

Thank you!

These seem the only logical choices for what you are looking for yes. Literally this week I got sucked in the Defy Skeletons too. Not the black ones, but the same none the less. I want the integrated bracelet design, brushed mixed with polished and having a skeleton dial is a bonus. These Zeniths are the only ones that tick all the boxes.

For me it’s going to be the Classic. Aesthetically I think the 21 looks a bit better and the chrono is insane. So in any case I would choose the 21 over the Classic except one….. the size. It’s 41mm vs 44mm. I can wear 44mm, but don’t want to. So for me the choice is simple. For you it would just be fitting them both and see if you prefer the 44mm over the 41mm. If that’s the case, go for the 21, if not, go for the Classic.

I do like the Silver version in the second post. Not a fan of the two posted watch from the OP. So many options.

The 1/100 chrono is amazing in-person. Incredibly entertaining piece.
