Newly Acquired Pre-Owned, Need Help on Provenance
Gang, I need some advice on a 34 mm salmon dial I just picked up for my wife. It doesn’t seem to fit any reference information I can find, and it’s too new to be in the vintage forum. The warranty card says 2015 from a British Caribbean AD, #114200. The dial has Arabic 3/6/9, but it doesn’t say Air King. Is this real
and rare, or just another replica? Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Similar layout to a 29mm OP my wife had.
Quick Google search of the ref you gave show a mixture of OPS and AKs..

A quick search on Chrono24 has plenty of 114200 without Air King on the dial.

Thanks, we’ve been doing some of that. But it’s odd that the same reference is used for Air Kings, and this one has Arabic’s without the AK. All the 34 mm OP’s we see are sticks only.

My wife has this same watch in a blue dial with 3-6-9, and it does knot have “Air King” on the dial either.

And now, the plot thickens… the online listing showed 34 mm, my micrometer measures 36 mm!

It’s not an Air King. It’s an Oyster Perpetual ;)

Thanks to all. Peter, I was thrown because we researched 114200 and saw only AK’s, and the Arabic’s made me think AK. A 36 mm OP is clearly a different animal, and the salmon color is clearly different from the current OP pink dial option.

The OP 34mm can come with batons or the Arabic explorer type dial.
