FS: 1987 Rolex Datejust Linen Dial 16014 Box and Papers

Nothing reminds you of your cool aunties and uncles in your childhood like the classic 36mm Datejust with a white gold fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. This example has the popular “linen” dial, labeled as such by collectors and enthusiasts, due to the woven pattern which it resembles. This is a full set coming fresh from Kuala Lumpur, which still retains its original box and warranty papers (dated 1987), original purchase receipt (what appears to be its final year of payment dated 1988) and a service receipt from the 90s. Unfortunately the faux leather in the inner box appears to have dried out over the years in the Southeast Asian heat - but hey, it’s original.

Service History: 1994. Unknown thereafter. The watch is running at -7s/d with 178 amplitude.
