Game of millimeters: 41mm vs 40mm vs 39mm

From 41mm to 40mm and 39mm.. the many design elements of Rolex seem to work out great despite the size difference. Love them all on my 7 inch wrist.. enjoy more and speculate less

Very nice Fred

I agree with you my BLNR wears much larger than my OP39 but I love them both

Nice collection but the numbers don’t always match the actual dimensions.

Great stuff! Such vibrant photos of three beauties.

I also have a 16710 and Exp 39 and they are the current favorites of my collection.

Regarding sizing, the Exp wears a little bigger than the 16710 even though it’s 39 vs. 40. I think its because the Exp has a larger dial, wider lugs, and a more substantial bracelet.

39 looks best on your wrist IMO. All three are fantastic watches for sure.

Cool watches all. I also have a 7 inch wrist and I truly miss my YG Day Date from 1983. It was a 36MM and was destroyed in a motorcycle crash I had. The AD let me know they have a new 36 incoming that is available, white Roman dial fluted bezel 36 just like my original one. They offered it to me, I would possibly have preferred a 40 but I will not turn this down!

Nice collection. Bezel size and lug length/width will have an even larger impact in terms of how these watches fit than the case size.

Thanks Eric and Gents .

Even though they say size is a state of mind, I can only wear up to a 41mm. I still love Panerai(s) but I just can’t wear 44mm anymore. 36mm also works well on my smaller wrist and got to love the DJ 36.
