Is it weird that I prefer the 3861 Sapphire bracelet to my Hesalite version?

So I just received my BNIB 3861 Speedmaster Hesalite from one of the forum trusted sellers. I owned the previous reference for a few years, but sold it some time ago. The changes Omega made were enough to bring my back and so far, I love it.

However, I really do prefer the bracelet that comes on the Sapphire version - with the polished sections. Maybe it's my age (40), but for my entire adult life/knowledge of watches, the Speedmaster has always come with a bracelet that had small polished links on the bracelet. The Hesalite all-brushed bracelet looks... odd!

Anyone out there with the Sapphire bracelet want to trade?? I haven't even sized mine and it still has the protective sticker on the clasp

Where were you 4 months ago?!!

I hate the polished bits so much, that I had them brushed out! Haha

I’m even tempted to brush the polished surfaces on the case.

I don’t think it’s an age related thing…I’m 50!

I expected to hate the polished bits on the 3861 bracelet for the sapphire version of the watch. Now I love them.

You like what you like... in this age nothing is weird anymore. I really mean it.

I agree, I think the polished links would match the polished case better. All brushed looks a little odd.
