Poll: Second Best Color of new 41mm SS ROC???

Assuming SS blue would win hands down, poll is for second best.

On looks alone, no consideration of resale value, which of the three remaining colors would you pick if you could get it today? Green, white, or black?

Maybe I'm weird but I like my chronos to be panda. Any of them would be amazing with contrasting subdials.

I put green ahead of blue on the powerpoint presentation on my preferences I sent to the boutique

I am with you. Very disappointed to hear the 26331ST Panda is being retired (this was my grail watch). I never got all the love for the blue dial ROC and thought the Panda blew it out of the water. Really hoping there is a new Panda ROC on the horizon.

No doubt the pandas on equal size subdials would have looked amazing, but sadly not in SS, only on that frosted white gold. I'm sure what's old will eventually be new again and 5-10 years.

@psm11, I was fortunate enough to see the two side by side. I found the white panda to be best overall look, but the blue for AP, wow it just hits the sun a certian way. Way, way better than blue on the nautilus IMHO. So here I actually think non-panda blue looks better than blue/contrast subdials.

I'm super tempted by the green as well, but seems like a pain to match clothes to green dial.

I agree. I feel the blue has become a cliché.

Blue as always been my favourite dial on a watch and it still is. That said I’ve a feeling the green will be the star of the show.

Do you really think it will take 5-10 years for us to see another panda ROC (outside of the frosted one)? God, I hope not. TBH the outgoing Panda ROC has been my grail for many, many years. Not sure any other model/design will scratch that itch for me. I made an appointment with my SA to figure out how to proceed but, if I am being honest, I don't know if I have it in me to play the game now that it is firmly established that I can never get my hands on that piece.

Tried the new green one, it is awesome and very subtle, think more forest green rather than electric green!

I requested for the green ROC as well…. Looks stunning in pictures. I think AP really got the correct green for this release. The blue is nice too. Was just wondering if it might be easier to get the blue. Might change my interest if that’s the case.

Your guess would be as good as mine, but I'm just thinking they went from 26320 to 26331 (non panda to panda). So after we get another 5 years of non-pandas, maybe they all sit around the design table and go, what if we went panda again? Or you know, maybe it's like the Daytona and it takes much longer than 10 years.

Would you say it's darker than jumbo's green side by side? Also, how 'metallic' was the dial? I'm looking at the Wristcheck blog and one photo looks incredibly matte and the other very shiny/reflective.

Yes darker and less shiny although it is a bit metallic more like a British racing green. Full disclosure I tired it at night and only under artificial light so might be different with day light..

I like the white one and personally have the older version of it. I think I'd get the black dial this time.

Any on the resale market yet?

I think the new green is almost too dark after seeing it in the boutique... maybe it looks better in natural light.

Green is number 1 for me followed by blue. I already own a 26331st and feel like the contrasting white subdials look much better than the new all black chrono.

Surprised by how far the silver/white dial is falling behind black!

that dark green looks royally nice. with the gold, even better.

the plain black and white dials simply look too plain.

my vote is for the forest green one.
I should get the blue one but I won't complain if I get the green one too

I’m not, looks rather plain and the Panda 26331 kills aesthetically in my view

I really thought it would go Green (duh), white, black. Oh well. Good thing I don’t run the design team.

@GW44, I suppose the real kicker is the question would be: if you knew you couldn’t get the other colors, would you still buy the white despite looking rather plain?

Regarding new ROC 41. I’d be utterly thrilled with Khaki, done deal. I’d be super happy for Blue. I’d accept Black but, I’d pass all day long on the White I’m afraid…..would rather a 26331 Panda I think.

“Cue I get offered a new white 41 ROC anytime soon”

I actually asked for the white.

I think it'll be the best daily wear option for me. I already have 2 blue ROs (15400 and Ti QP) and the lighter dial is a nice change!
