When a car manufacturer is discontinuing a model they often "throw in" some optional extras or make a short run of a "special edition" to get the old models shifted.
Could it be that Rolex did similar by COSC certifying the 14060M prior to stopping production in favour of the 114060? After all the 14060M was never one of their best selling models when compared to the sub date. Whatever, I still love my 2011 4 liner and would have it over the 2 liner or later versions any day. |

Oh yeah, I'd personally go for the clean 2 liner. Wish I grabbed one while it was still within in reach for me. Good luck!
