Congratulations and wear it in good health. If I may suggest depending on if your a CAPT or FO:

CAPT - pull the grimes light out of its housing and let it hang next to your brain bag.
FO - be cognizant of the trim wheel. (If you wear your watch on your right wrist reverse the above)

Great story, great reference, and really not that long a wait. I love to hear stories of pilots who wear GMT’s! Too bad Pan Am is ancient history.
