Brushed or Polished Case? Blancpain Rose Gold Fifty Fathoms

I have decided to purchase a rose gold fifty fathoms flyback. I went into an AD but they did not have one in stock.

I am trying to decide between the satin / brushed case or the polished case.

Can anyone who has owned either of these provide some feedback or pictures? I am having a tough time deciding between the two case types. It would be my everyday work watch in the office.

Any pictures or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

brushed !!!

Sorry, I thought I had some more pics...I'll take some tonight.
I drove the AD up the wall over the space of a couple of weeks going back and forth between polished and brushed and 3 hander or chrono...( went chrono as I've got the 3 hander in steel).
I think the brushing gives it a warm luster and shows off the angles and shape of the case better, whilst helping hide swirls and scratches. I preferred the brown calf strap and brushed deployant that comes with the brushed version over the black sailcloth and tang buckle of the polished...( it's on a NATO now, I don't like leather straps on watches that get submerged...)

Brushed, definitely. The brushed rg FF case is stunning in person, it just glows.

This looks down right beautiful! How long have you had the watch? Any issues or any feedback that I should know before purchasing?

How hard was it to find straps for the watch? I would like to find a rubber or sailcloth strap to put on it. Any recommendations?

Also please upload more photos!

It's a 2016 watch that I bought used from DavidSW in 2017- it's not a daily wearer, but it does get worn a fair amount in rotation. It's been in the pool and in the sea and on the beach a fair bit when I lived in warmer climes, so I've put a few small nicks and scratches in it, but they only really show up in enlarged pics.
looking at my polished steel watches, I think it would have looked worse for wear had it not been the brushed version.

Straps are a pain- not so much the width, but the screw bars are very close to the case, so thick straps are a tight squeeze in there. I'm using a spare set of steel screw bars as I was afraid of bending the gold ones. Changing straps is easy- two .9 hex drivers from amazon @$7- unscrew and pop out the bars...

The watch looks great on the nato. How is the accuracy of the movement? I heard it varies from watch go watch. Some say it is very accurate and some say they had some issues.

Also no problems with the chrono function?

I love Blancpain watches, they are amazing. I would go brushed as well, as others have said.

Thanks. I think I am going to go brushed!

Now I have to figure out an aftermarket rubber strap, as I don't want the OEM leather strap to get wet. I am leaning towards rubber b.

Nope. The brushed version comes with a leather strap. I heard that blancpain no longer has one rubber straps, so I think I am going to have to use a 23mm rubber b strap.

They are still available, picked up a rubber strap from the Blancpain boutique a couple months ago. It's not impressive, but it's own and fits the silly 23mm lug width

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered the watch, so when it gets here next week, I will take it to the blancpain AD to get an OEM strap!

Do you remember how much you paid for the rubber strap?

I think it was around $200, I bought a few straps at the same time so not sure which was which. There always the sailcloth and alcantara options too, ask the boutique to pull them all out

Cool strap to find would be the older Nato from the gold Bathyscaphe, it came with exquisite brushed gold hardware.

Downside was the GDP2000 price......

there are some great pics of it over on Henricks' Blancpain Blog:
