Neverthing you always wanted to know about the 116610
Aside from the obvious:
1. In your hands the 116610 feels heavy like a real Rolex. 2. Unscrewing the crown feels gritty. 3. Winding the watch feels grittier. 4. Sometimes the date changes at 9:00, sometimes it just tries. 5. The bezel is unidirectional, clicks 70 times in 360 deg. 6. Refections in the crystal are distorted. 7. Observed at an oblique angle the face is warped under each marker, like a bowling ball on a trampoline. 8. The coronet "etching" can be seen from the moon and looks like it was applied using a Hershey Bar and a brick. 9. The Crown has almost 3 dots under the coronet. 10. The pearl on the bezel is not centered. 11. You can easily hear the winding rotor long after you have stopped shaking the watch. 12. The sweep hand appears to stutter 4 times per. sec. 13. The Bracelet is a total piece of crap but it does have the divers extention. 14. Fully wound, face up overnite, the watch was -5 sec. A Rose by any other name... |
