Depends on the example and what else you have in the box. I’m not up to date on the figures but the 5060 is damn cool.

Not for that watch, you should get money.

No. That would be an awful trade.

The money seems right but I think it’s cooler to have that sub and gmt in your collection and also consider their stock is still rising and likely won’t stop for the foreseeable future. Would maybe part ways with one of them and account for the cash so then you have the Patek and one Rolex. But again if you end up regretting the trade will be hard to go back.

I do like that other Patek you considered though

Good call.

It’s unlikely of trade two watches I got brand new for one vintage. That said, if I’d gotten those two Rolex at MSRP, it might not be the worst from an economic standpoint. The 5060 *should* be the most collectible Aquanaut three-hander as it’s the original and had the shortest run. But now we’re talking about appeal to actual watch collectors…

Personally wouldn't and the 36mm likely wears noticeably smaller than your current two watches being traded. I would absolutely try it on before even considering it. There's always 5167 also, albeit more costly

If you bought the 126710BLNR and the 126610LV at retail, then the cash stacks up just fine IMO. However, I wouldn't do it for a 5060A.

Now if you'd said a 5167A instead... then I'd say definitely.

Isn’t that the 36mm Aquanaut?

If so, NO WAY.

This was the only reason I was really entertaining the trade. If I'm honest I have a pretty decent rolex collection and this would be my first step into patek. Just not sure if it's the right watch to trade such a valuable pairing for.
