If you really prefer the no date then politely decline and I am sure they will get you one soon. If you hesitate between both then definitely get the date that is offered to you now!

Get the date then change the face and crystal to cover the window and lose the mag.

Funny because that’s the exact opposite that happened to me
I wanted the 126610ln, and got a call asking if I’d consider the 124060 instead

Took the submariner and never looked back

But I agree with most of the comments here, take the 126610 and wait for a 124060 to come around, or for a trade + cash your way
