JLC Polaris Stopped

Picked up a JLC Polaris Date 2 weeks ago from my AD. Brand new. Now it stops when sitting idle for 1 hour. Watch can be fully wound and still stops. Seems like it needs to be serviced but it’s only 2 weeks old. Any suggestions?

Looks like you answered your own question - needs to be serviced. So get it back to your AD pronto…

First, go to your AD and ask him how he would feel if he had bought a brand new watch and in 15 days the watch presented this problem. Would it be easy for him to accept to go to the service a brand new watch? Then act accordingly.

Contact the AD and see what they tell you. I would push for a return unless they have another and you still want the watch.

I wouldn’t accept a service.
I would be asking for my money back or a replacement watch.
For all JLC’s crowing about how magnificent they are, this is a very poor outcome for you OP. It would turn me off the brand forever.
