Cartier Santos L new Blue Model 10% off (good deal)

I have a pretty good relationship I have been building with a newer AD the last 3 months, have been able to get a DJ41 blue, a new Tudor BB Pro, and a Tudor BB 41. I got a call as I was interested in the new Santos Blue bezel and was offered with 10 percent discount and 0 tax. I am new to Cartier pricing but my understanding is most boutiques will not discount and as the Santos is a hot model there is little wiggle room.

Does anyone have any experience with Cartier pricing? I normally would just jump on it, but I have a chance at a Sub and a SkyD in the near future and the wife may just kill me. I also really like this AD and want to keep the relationship going….

I sold my DJ41 jubilee bracelet smooth bezel blue dial for about $1000 more than I got it from my AD and bought new Santos LG white dial. First off...no discount but got a free strap (opted for blue croc strap) and to my surprise it became my daily along with my Explorer ii polar. I keep my blk subdate and hulk on the winders. I get a lot of compliments on the Santos and wear it way more than DJ41

I am planning to get a Santos Large in the next 2 weeks. The local Cartier boutique (Toronto) would not give me a discount but offer a free black alligator strap.
While I prefer the classic Santos (the one with while dial), somehow the salesman kept trying to sell me the new blue PVD model.

Brady2117: How do you like your white Santos? A few Santos reviews call it a scratch-magnet.

I had the Santos blue dial (original) and loved it. I ended up getting rid of it because the polished stainless bezel was a scratch magnet and I just couldn't take it.

If I had the chance to get the blue bezel (either blue dial or white dial) at a 10% discount, I'd jump on it. Great watch!

This is the blue bezel, white dial Santos. I also really liked the black bezel and grey as well, but something about that white dial and blue bezel has me. I like blue watches and think it would be a nice add to the collection. I just got a call on a YM blue last month that I had waited for 1 year for, so as it was unexpected this is bad timing

If you truly want it, get it.

As for pricing, it's good.

And so...

If you truly want it, get it.
