Vacheron 7900R

I love VC. It’s one of those brands that oozes heritage, class and quality. I came across this reference. What do you guys think? Does the dial/case/strap work?

I really enjoy the Dual Time version of the Overseas, and this looks great with the RG and strap. I think that if VC offered this with a full bracelet and then the rubber and leather options - it would be a home run!

I like it too. You could source the RG bracelet from a dealer. It would work.

Gorgeous watch. I actually prefer the dual time over the Overseas chrono due the the slightly smaller diameter case.

Me too. I had the chrono but I sold it. It felt wider than usual on my wrist.

I think as a movement/watch is amazing!
I went for silver dial/steel as I did not like the silver dial on gold and with rubber band only.

That said, you really can’t go wrong with the Overseas!

Would love to see yours on a orange rubber strap, if possible. I recently purchased this same reference with blue, brown and white rubber straps.

Do they integrated gold bracelets for the other gold Overseas models fit the strap only models?

It would be odd to offer the gold bracelet on the perpetuals, the regular Overseas, and tourbillons, but not the chrono and dual time, even though they sell bracelets that would fit.

Why wouldn't it just be an option from the get go?

I have the RG Chrono 5500v and it came with the rubber and leather straps only. My SA told me the gold bracelet cost $18,000 and can be ordered. I guess in order to keep the cost down, gold bracelet is not standard on the dual time and Chrono.

Vacheron has always been one of my favorite watch brands and this watch in particular (7900R) is absolutely stunning.

Yes they all fit. Design aesthetic is the likely reason.

Rose bracelet is only offered on 7 of 37 in the Overseas collection. Perpetual calendar is the only series where you get to choose your dial with a rose bracelet.
