Oyster Perpetual Day-Date
My father asked me about this, but I know nothing about Rolex watches. I have not seen the watch in person yet, and I will definitely have a legitimate jeweler look at it before putting it on ebay, but I thought the folks on this forum might be able to give me some info on this watch in case it is real. Model? Ways of describing it? Possible value? Thanks very much.
(By the way, I originally posted this in a thread where someone requested photos of DD watches with leather looking straps -- such as this one -- and I also asked to be educated on the watch, but I was scolded and told to post here instead.) |

Hi SwimPV70,
Welcome to TRF Do you have any more information on that watch, post up some more photos of the case back. I agree with Steve here, the hands are way too short and Blaine is spot on with the crown. the only time we do see similar is when a Tudor Day Date has a Rolex dial or a re-done Tudor dial with the Rolex name and Coronet. Dave. Just to be sure, can you get as much info, a photo of the caseback would be good,

On top of the other things mentioned, it appears to me that the Day window appears to be a bit smaller than typical? But as Dave mentioned, a few more pictures would be helpful, when you can.
