38mm Tudor Ranger

Hi, I need some help with an ebay item.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=350211940432

Sorry I can't work out how to add the link.

what I want to know is whether it is genuine? I gather from other links on the site that it probably shouldn't have the red ranger, but is the rest of it ok.

many thanks

did ETA or AS make a 23j movement in the late 60's though the 70's (17,21,25)?????

SWISS -T<25 DIAL VS T SWISS T ???????????

in the past it was said red was rare, later it was never. white rangers are super tuff to find and copied OFTEN (by the box full)

be carefully and WELCOME TO TRF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that ranger to be fake.

A beautiful example of a real ranger can be seen on the vintage forum on 6.15.09 post by tomvox1.

Yeah, the real ones are a masterpiece.

Love the 'military' style hands.

Thanks for the replies.

Was there ever a 38mm Tudor Ranger? the case on this one looks a bit pitted and why are there so many fakes around for a not particulaly expensive watch?
