Holidays with matching Pelagos FXDs

Wrapped up the summer break with a snorkeling vacation with the wife. We decided to take our Tudor Pelagos FXDs, which served us very well and demonstrated their value as hardy, sturdy references that always brought a smile to our faces whenever we looked at them. Very light on the wrist and easy on the eyes.

Some pictures of the trip below.

As for the matching FXDs - the wife became a rabid fan of watches (the larger references), and thus whenever I get myself one I try and give her one. It makes it easier to add :), and also avoids her nabbing my personal watches (eg the BLNR was ‘acquired’).

However, I believe the saying is ‘happy wife happy life.’ Or something to that effect …

The matching sequence I’ve worked out with her …planning on getting a Pelagos 39 for her to match my LHD; and a SMP for me to match hers.

Great post and pics.
The vacation looks fun, and the watch arrangement works for all.

Nice to see some brothers on TRF.

I can’t get the AppleWatch off the Mrs wrist, so nice to see she appreciates the mechanical!

Love the pics and the fact that the FXD's are getting put through their paces! Also refreshing they aren't Rolexes lol.

I respect the fact you’re both haters of sharing your watches with a spouse or intimate cohabitatant. Few people would ever admit this openly but I will now admit it here and show my wife this thread then run for cover.

I love it! How cool that both of you share a passion for watches and do so with your own pieces. Thanks for sharing.

Great story and pictures. Nice seeing watches enjoyed in the wild. Seems like the watch habit in your household is twice as expensive as mine!

Were you able to get both FXD at the AD? I’m still waiting for mine 2 months and counting.
