Metal and No-metal date wheel
I've noticed that some vintage GMT SS 1675 (perhaps other models) a have silver metalic date wheel while other have the regular white whell.
Does anyone know why metalic Vs regular white? |

Early date wheels were silver on several models..
I suppose that the change to white was probably better visibility.. It is something to look for on early Subs etc, as a date wheel change was almost certainly to the white one..... On other models, such as the TT models, the datewheel is an ivory color...
