1997 Tudor Sub lume question
Quote from this article
"Additionally, the blue and black dials were updated and received white gold applied hour markers filled with luminous material." But what kind of lume are they talking about. https://www.fratellowatches.com/frat...ever-produced/ Sent from my SM-G973U1 using Tapatalk |

Tritium from c63 up to 1999 - Broadly the 79090/79190/75090/75190 /76100 had naked (un-coralled), HR markers.... up to as point where they followed suite a few yrs after Rolex, by surrounding them in a thin white gold surround - this was part of the 'up marketing' the brand imho.

Are the photos of this to illustrate the difference? I don't think I've ever seen one.

Yes the 79190/75190 was 'broadly' made in late 98 and 1999 in black and blue with white gold surrounds, and with a polished silver bezel insert - I'm personally not keen on the aesthetic but it's rare !
