What model am I looking at? Oeyster Perpetula Precision

Hey guys,

I just found this watch on the market and I really fell in love with the design.

Anyways, before buying I wanted to ask you, if you know the model year and the reference number, because I have never seen such design of the bracelet holder.

I know the condition is not very good, but I like it that way :)

Best,
Fabi

Welcome to the Forum

It is a type of "fancy" lug watch. Unfortunately the dial is refinished and your research may not be successful in trying to match a watch with your type dial.

Best suggestion is to get the watch opened and get the reference numbers from the caseback to further the research.

Hands should be pointers and the second hand should be a batan style with the little ball at the end.
Oyster Perpetual Precision? Definite rework on the dial and definitely not an Oyster case.

It should just have the Crown with Rolex written below it and Precision at the bottom of the dial only.

I bet the watch is a manual wind

So I had the case opened, but the numbers are missing…

Everything is polished very much…

Anyway, I made a picture of the inside, what do you guys think? Probably worth only a couple hundret bucks, right? Anyway, I like the design, what do you recommend?

Do you have a picture of the inside of the caseback?
That's where the numbers could be. If not check between the lugs..

Does not look good.
As far as price, what someone is willing to pay.

Dial is a repaint and that affects value quite a chunk tbh, I'd tread carefully.
