Up for sale is not only a rarity but something so cool any Rolex fan can appreciate.

This is a 5.2 Serial (late 1978/early 1979) Mark 1 Dial Rolex OQ 17000

This has a beautiful champagne dial with all original hands and lume plots.

I purchased this from a Japanese watch broker and this seems to have been serviced by Rolex Japan - paperwork included.

What is really cool is the date wheel is original so it's open 6's and 9's

Once received I had my watch maker put in a fresh battery and pressure test it which it passed.

Bracelet is almost brand new and has no marks or desk dives. It will fit a 8.1" wrist fully extended. Coronet is nice and prominent and the clasp shuts incredibly tight.

I am looking to sell this for $3,990 shipped. This is the cheapest OQ on the market and my price is firm. It's also the only one under 4K shipped.
