I think the new green is bit lighter and more vibrant. How much are the 2023’s on the gray market in the US right now?!

Agreed.

That said I’ve not seen the new version in person yet, but from the picture I much prefer the new one.

I prefer the MK1 to the new version. The forest green color used in it is so much nicer than the new lime shade of green.

I prefer the old one. The shade of green is closer to official Rolex logo green.

I suspect a lot of votes for MKI are from MKI owners. Coming from someone who has neither, I vote for MKII.

I have the older one, but like the newer one better. When I got my Starbucks, I immediately felt like the green was duller than I would have preferred. It really wasn't a "Cermit" because the green was noticably darker. This newer green is actually a Cermit imo.

Does the new LV really have a matte dial? I thought Rolex just messed up the brochure pictures, the new Daytona black dial looks matte too but I'm certain it isn't in real life.

None, the bracelet is too wide and the buckle is too big. I prefer the Hulk, even with its fatter lugs.

Mk.II for me.

The slightly more acid lime/olive green has a stronger connection (to my eye) to the nicest aluminium insert colour of the Kermit (particularly the B3).

The Mk.I insert has always struck me as a dull companion to the black dial - it looks too much like the Hulk insert colour, and fails to “pop” next to black, in the way that the Hulk insert compliments and sings with the green dial.

The Mk.II has that “pop”.

None of this is of any consequence to me - I’ve no AD “relationship”, and would never pay the stupidly inflated grey/secondhand market price for either!

I'm happy to have the new Kermit! So my vote to MKII.

That's bright! I feel like the new MK2 LV is now a unique standalone piece instead of a Submariner with a Hulk bezel

New, as it looks more like the original Kermit.

MK1

I didn’t care for this lime green on the original 50th anniversary edition either.

The new one is so much better !! It’s what this watch needed so badly … like I’ve said before, the mk1 just looks like a hulk without the dial ! And I did/do like that watch .. but the mk2 bezel is much improved and exactly what the watch needed to more closely resemble the 2003 50th anniversary piece .. which is the whole point of it in the first place after all !
