Prices for Rolex, Patek Philippe and Other Luxury Watches Will Continue to Fall, According to Morgan Stanley

The coveted timepieces are selling for more than retail, though.

How long have Morgan Stanley been “experts” in the premium watch market?

They should stick to their own asset classes I think.

To be honest, anyone with even a cursory understanding of economics and economic history knew that the ever-increasing sky high prices of the last few years wouldn’t last. Yes the overall trend will undoubtedly still be inflationary, but there will be peaks followed by troughs along the way. That said, lots of people here were adamant that the gravy train would never end. Oh well….

Yes not for all watches, not SS C Daytonas, 5711, 5712's 15202's and so on. I can only be glad if that happens, so we can add the ones that are missing in our collection for lower prices but i doubt that will happen.

Prices move up and down all of the time. For years theyhave moved in a range above MSRP.

When you get a discount under MSRP for the in demand watches, then it will be news

Brands hiked prices way too fast, trying to close the gap with the gray market. What will they do when the market price goes below their already inflated retail prices? Will be fun to see.
