HForrest is a scam

HForrest has several posts on the classifieds right now. He has just scammed me for $8600 on a GMT and disappeared his phone number no longer works.

His references on the forum are

Chevy9 and JBell which I assume were use other usernames.

HForrest is banned. Chevy9 and JBell are currently active members who both have logged in this month. JBell has FS listings as early as June 2023 and is a pledge member. Seems odd that they were references. What do they have to say about this scam?

You can report a member by clicking on the red triangle with the exclamation mark inside that is located adjacent to their Online/Offline indicator below their user ID in any post.

Thanks! That’s good to know. My speculation is that both ids are his as well so I would be extremely cautious. In looking back while different their recommendations sound the same.

Chevy9 is now banned. If they both provided references, then wouldn't they be complicit to a fraud? I believe Admin can tell if they are sharing the same ISP address as HForrest if you feel that they are the same person. Perhaps Admin should be made aware of JBell's alleged involvement in this scam.
