I heard that every time you scan it on a phone, it contacts Rolex and subtracts a year from the warranty period for that watch. Just what I heard...

The Tudor BB Ceramic warranty card takes you to the META certification and performance specs of that particular watch, quite clever.

Lots of folks here don't see the use in it and are letting everyone know it is useless. It is not. Just useless to customers.

At the point of sale the retailer activates it. It is activated with a special phone and that is it. It serves as a quick activation without having to type or write a bunch of customer information. So it serves its purpose at Point of Sale. Enjoy.

A new service card is on the way, with NFC so you can check the performed services. Will be introduced next month.
