How about the 16202ST? I’d love to add one, currently have as history from the boutique a ceramic Royal Oak offshore from 5 years ago, and a 15510OR (full rose gold) bought this year.
Been wondering if it’s a realistic request (don’t want to waste everyone’s time if it isn’t!). |

I threw my name in the hat with AP. I only have 3 pieces but hoping for a 16202 or 15407.
Chances are I won't get it based on this thread but i'm not going to just buy random watches that I don't want to actually wear just to get something. |

I have 3 APs, RO, ROO Driver, gold code time only.
I have mentioned my interest in the 15407 and my SA has shown both ST & RO versions to see over the last 6 months. I'm feeling confident the day might come but this thread is making me feel less so. Fingers crossed :) |

15400ST; 15510ST and Diver.
My 15400ST silver dial is my all time grail. Yep, it's simple and back when I bought it, wasn't that spendy but objectively, it's AP at its absolute best IMHO. Oh well if I can't get anymore. I can't get the sportscar I want either but such is life and I still have what I have. |

Please don't PM me and ask who. I wouldn't say because i'm sure he doesn't want to get bombarded with PM's. |

Just as a heads up 15407 and 15416 are totally different watches from an allocation perspective. 15407 you can see a path there; 15416 is a total crap shoot that’s beyond spend and # of watches Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Are you saying, as hard as it is to get a 15407, a 15416 is even more difficult? That’s my understanding as it’s a ceramic piece and it’s production is a fraction of 15407’s |

I got my 15407 from NYC boutique a few months ago. I was told that the NYC boutique was only receiving one 15416 for the entire year. Not enough to go around.

My journey with AP started 7 years ago. It is important mentioning because at the time all boutiques had multiple versions of each model in stock and ready to buy on the spot and you could get absolutely everything they produced (and I mean EVERYTHING) at a discount on the grey market.
I first bought a blue dial panda steel ROC and a 33m RO for my wife in steel. It was my first time entering into a boutique. Had no relationship with the brand or an SA. Entered. Chose. Bought. We left with the watches on the wrist. 6 months later, I bought a ROO. Same story, I went to resize the ROC and left with a ROO, not expected... A year or so later a 15400 ST silver dial. Same story, visited the boutique and left with a new watch. 18 months later I bought a 15500OR black dial on bracelet. This time it was a bit different, times were getting harder. I told them I wanted a full gold RO and was offered two options, either the 15500OR or the rose gold skeleton. At the time I thought the skeleton would be too "flashy" and I regretted this decision ever since. The wait was 6 months. 18 months later I bought a 15416CE. I had flagged to my SA I wanted a 15407 when I bought the 15500OR. He told me it would take a year. In the meantime, I changed my mind to the 15416CE and was told no problem. My SA then left and I had a bit of a longer wait. Was offered a 15407 in the meantime which I refused (made a topic about that story) and eventually after a slightly longer wait my 15416CE arrived... That's my story. Was also offered a few QPs on the way but didn't pull the trigger. Thinking about my next AP. Must say the 15416CE, for the first time, calmed my fever for new watches... just love it. |
