I’ll start.

My brother recently asked me if he could have a watch that was connected to me, and specifically the 16710 GMT Master II, which I owned and had the box, papers, extra Jubilee bracelet, all 3 bezels… But unfortunately I sold it last year just due to COVID from the uncertainty from those early months.

Makes me want to get another 16710 - but the prices are so jacked up over the past year, that I have a hard time picking up another one. Sucks I can’t provide this favor to my brother!

Exact same story sold a 16710 with all bezels and extra Jubilee. Regret it now.

Also sold a Japanese TOG that I paid $4k for.

I’ll let you know later this week.
I’ve never sold a watch before, but I’ll be listing my first shortly.

I’m getting older and none of my children share my enthusiasm for the hobby.

I’ve never sold one. The only one I regret letting go of was losing my first watch when I was 6. It was a present from my grandmother and it got lost in the school changing rooms - it was my most treasured possession at that time. (It was a Casio purchased for about £2 - not a Rolex right enough.)

Regret selling my Omega Seamaster the most. It was my first serious watch. But I needed money at the time to marry my wife.

All my subs... If I kept them, would have made even more lol.

My first 16610LV B4… I had to pay nearly double what I originally paid to find another one NOS condition… 🤦🏻*♂️

Hulk. Bought it new when they first launched in 2010 and got a 10% discount from the AD because nobody wanted a green Sub at the time!!!

Bought if for £5k and sold it to a dealer earlier this year for £13.5k so not a bad return. It was just sitting in its box as I didn’t feel comfortable wearing it around town last couple of years because it’s an obvious target. Got fed up with paying to insure it and not wearing it so I let it go and didn’t think I’d miss it. Wrong. Now I weep every time I see one of Mario’s pictures! Joking aside, I know it was the right thing to do but I really do miss it.
