Weight difference DJ 126234 vs 126231 jubilee

Does anyone know the weight difference between a White gold Rolesor 36mm DJ Jubilee and a Rose/Yellow gold Rolesor DJ Jubilee.

Does the Gold center links on the Jubilee bracelet add any perceivable weight?

I think the TT gold feels a bit heavier than the regular one, which are both sized for my wrist. In my case, though, the bracelet on my TT is the oyster, but I also compared my 36 OP on Oyster to my Wimbledon TT , and it felt heavier, but not by a lot. When I find my food scale, I’ll do a more accurate comparison.

Thanks Kat. I'm trying to work out if there is enough difference between a 126234 and 126231 both on jubilee with fluted bezel, to own both in a small collection. I got the call.

the TT definitely is heavier, but not much. its the centre links being gold

I read this on a website:

"A Rolex Datejust in steel weighs anywhere between 80g to 130g depending on the size, but you’ll notice that for a two tone Datejust the weight now varies between 100 and 185 grams."

If you love it, get it. Don’t give up your mint green, though. The two tone is a whole different animal, IMO. Of course, my TT is the Wimbledon, so much different from the Mint green. Totally different looks in my small Rolex collection. I don’t think about whether it’s weird that half my watches are Datejusts. Having said that, I’m in the process of selling off a lot of lesser priced watches. I want to end up with about 10 really nice ones, 5 Rolexes and various other brand watches, including a really nice Seiko diver. That’s the goal.

My wife’s 126231, although it has fewer links than my own 126234, feels slightly but noticeably heftier. Both have stick indices.

Maybe i can be of help. Two very different watches in appearance and, as previously written, there’s a noticeable weight difference. So, IMO, definitely different wearing experiences.

What dial are you thinking of for the two-tone? As long as they are different dials, I say for for it. I occasionally think of getting a two-tone to go with my current DJ

I currently own a Mint green 126234, steel 36mm, white gold fluted on Jubilee.
I got the call for a Chocolate dial, Everose 36mm, fluted bezel on jubilee. It was on my wish list back in May 2023

So both, 36mm, both fluted, both jubilee, both baton dials. Difference being steel vs 2 tone.

I also have in the collection OP Yellow dial 12600, 2 tone 36mm Explorer 124273, Daydate 18238, JLC Reverso.

This is almost exactly what I'm looking at. I own the mint green 126234 and got the call for a chocolate dial 126231. Visiting the Rolex shop on Sunday.
Silly I know, but thinking will there be something better announced W&W 2024

Everose and chocolate is a very handsome combination. As for W&W24, maybe there will be sth different, not necessarily better. Have fun on Sunday!
