126655 vs 226658 ?
What is your preference for the Yacht-master Oyster-flex in terms of feel, look and legibility.
And have you tried on both? Does this look too big? I’m used to wearing a 128238 36MM + 124270 explorer, 126710BLNR 40mm Recently purchased a 226658 from AD but really wanted the 40mm for the case size. I can still trade it in grey for 126655 but the contrast of the yellow gold is growing. My bracelet is F and E Wondering if the 126655 will fit on the same bracelet sizes F and E ( with the same glide lock ) 126655 Rose Gold 40mm Matte Dial 2017-2023 226658 Yellow Gold 42mm 2022-2023 7.5 wrist Which would you think is the best in terms of look? And holding value in the future more? Has anyone find it hard time adjusting to 42mm? What are your thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

With your 7.5" wrist, you look good on both size, just take the one you love the most.
Since you already have 42 mm, I would keep it.

They wear very similarly, both very comfortable. Odds are, the same strap sizes will fit on the 126655 if you go that route. But, that's not a definitive.
As to which one is going to be worth more in the future, that's a sure fire way to suck every single bit of joy from the hobby. Just get the one you like the best. |

I would keep the YG 42mm. It looks fine. I am a little of the mind that YG is fine for sport watches, but RG is more for dress watches. On the bracelet question, at 2mm smaller in the 126655, isn't that just one ~2mm glidelock notch larger, with the same F and E straps.

You should see if you can find and try on the 126655.
The 2mm is a big difference (to me at least) |

YM42 white gold is perfect in my opinion.

I’ve literally had every single iteration of the YM on oysterflex except for the 37mm. My vote goes to the 126655 all day. The matte dial, everose gold, and 40mm size are perfect. The 42s, both yellow and white, felt a little too big, with too much dial. I also didn’t find the glossy black dials to be as interesting as the matte dial with red writing of the 126655, which plays nicely off the matte bezel and oysterflex straps.

The 42 looks a bit too big IMO. To my eyes, 40 is the sweet spot.

Can’t speak to the bracelet swap but I own the 40 Everose and it’s one of my favorites. Personal preference as far as combo as it seems wrist size for you could handle either size easily.
I have a 6.75” wrist and prefer Rolex Rose tone so the Everose was an easy decision for me. Good luck! |

I’m a little late on this board, but I think they both look great on you.
At this point, I’m sure you made your choice. However, I have a question for you along the same … Out of curiosity, is the clasp on the 126655 EXACTLY the same as the 226658? Is there a size difference on the clasp? |

It all depends on what you really like, but what you have on your wrist is already looking nice, you can keep it.
