They all state pre-owned at the grey dealer, they cannot/do not list them as brand new. My BLRO still had some stickers on it, totally unworn, listed as pre-owned. The watch I linked you to is 2023, I reasonably suspect it will be similar, new and unworn.

[QUOTE=Chachabah;13154462]Hello all!
I posted a WTB, Datejust 126331 with Wimbelton dial here about a month ago. Have been in correspondence with a few trusted grey dealers. 100% no question legit dealer quoted me $18,750. 99.9% (would still be a no green light for me) quoted me $17,900. I visited 4 local ADs in the past two weeks and added my name to the waitlist. Purchase history at one, a 36mm Datejust about 15 years ago. About two weeks later, today, I got the call from Tourneau/Bucherer telling me my watch is there. $16,022 with NY sales tax OTD! There is hope people. There is hope! The watch is stunning! I love it! I have learned so much from you all over the years! Thank you, thank you!Attachment 1420197Attachment 1420198Attachment 1420199Attachment 1420200Attachment 1420201Attachment 1420202Attachment 1420204 |

How long will I wait?
OP, the. Wimbledon is generally a 2 year waitlist item, so no way of knowing,, and I imagine the two-tone is easier to get than the SS. I’m just guessing at that, but we’ve noticed that any watches with PM are easier to get. I walked into my AD, and bought my Wimbledon on the spot, because a guy was turning down his allocation. it is a YG TT. That was exactly 2 weeks ago. I think the Wimbledon dial needs gold, to better show it off. There is no clear answer to your question. Good luck.

The call will come when it will, and not a moment before or after! 😁

Good luck OP. I’ve been down for a fluted Wimbledon 41 for about six months now with a decent purchase history. I may be far down the list as I kept changing my mind on configuration at the start so not sure how serious they think I am

Did you go with oyster or Jubilee? I love the contrast of oyster with fluted. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Thank you. I’m having trouble putting any other watch on, right now. I think both bracelets are great too. When I tried this on, the first time, my husband was with me. That was months ago. He normally doesn’t say much about my hobby, but he even said, “Oh, Wow! That is really nice!” When they offered it to me, he was all in. Telling them you’ll take either bracelet was a smart move. I hope you get the call soon. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I have requested the Jubilee bracelet, I just love the look of it and it was so comfortable when I tried it on. The anticipation and excitement is killing me 😂

You will go on about your business, and put it out of your mind. Months, or even a year will go by, and you will get the call. So, you must be prepared, when that happens. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

From things I have read, things do seem to be softening somewhat here in 2024 for Rolex with inflation being what it is, interest rates, high, etc. etc.
Still, as we all know, there remains a grey market for so many sports models of Rolex at inflated market prices. And as long as that persists, I would expect the supply chain at the ADs will continue to be a problem, just as it has been for years. |
